Here is a nice looking set of 16 unused, classic Lassie movie poster fridge magnets. Perfect for fans of Collie Dogs and classic Lassie movies. These colourful, unique and attractive fridge magnets were manufactured in Canada and are old warehouse stock. They have never been used and may have some faint or minor storage wear. They are laminated for durability and have a magnetic strip on the back. Each magnet measures approximately 3 and 3/4" by 2.5" wide.

About the Lassie films: The fictional character of Lassie (a female Rough Collie dog) was created by Eric Knight. His fictional story was published in 1940. MGM made the movie "Lassie Come Home" in 1943. A total of seven Lassie movies were made by MGM studios between 1943 and 1951. The movies made multi - millions of dollars for the studio in profits and were considered wholesome family entertainment. There were spin off toys, comic books and other merchandise featuring Lassie and several TV series over the years. As a side note: the MGM movies featured young, up and coming movie stars like: Elizabeth Taylor, Janet Leigh, Peter Lawford and Roddy MacDowall. All of those future movie stars received some of their first film roles in the Lassie movies.
