GUN MOLL / JIGSAW - Nice re-titled crime noir half sheet! Deadly puzzle of love!

Description

This listing is for an original release, but re-titled US half sheet movie poster (this one measures approximately 21.25x28 inches - top border has been trimmed), for United Artists' 1949 feature, Jigsaw, re-titled Gun Moll. I haven't been able to find out any information about why it was re-titled, but I have a studio issued pressbook with the new title, and I've seen stills listed on ebay with the new title as well. Condition is as stated above: Poster is in very good condition, with rough, torn and smudged/stained borders, tape repairs on back, re-title painted on, probably by a theater exhibiting it, and .75 inch trimmed from the top border.
The re-titling didn't affect the artwork any, so it remains a nice, colorful crime/noir poster from the late 40's.
