    Description

Offered in this sale is a pair of sterling silver and green chalcedony earrings,
which are not marked Mexico or Taxco, but from all appearances look like Mexican
silver. The large, 15mm bezel set chalcedony cabochons are surrounded by two
rows of silver hemispheres, the outer row about half the size of the inner row.
The solid silver backings are mounted with silver screw type earring backs.
Marks: The back of one earring stamped sterling, the other unmarked. Though
unmarked, these have all the earmarks of Mexican silver jewelry from the 1930's
    to the 1950s.
    Dimensions: diameter 1"
Condition: Excellent, with signs of age, but no breaks or damage of any
    kind.
