This auction is for an original 27"x41" movie poster for The Best Years of Our Lives from 1946 starring Frederick March, Myrna Loy, Teresa Wright,  Dana Andrews, Virginia Mayo and Harold Russell.  Among the several Academy Awards for the film, this film won the Best Picture of the Year Academy Award for 1947, Best Actor Academy Award for Frederick March, Best Director Academy Award for William Wyler and Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for Harold Russell.  It is considered a classic film about soldiers returning from war to a world that has moved on without them.  The poster very good condition, having been linenbacked and is ready to frame and display.
