Condition: This restored original movie poster exhibits solid and rich colors with William Powell and Hedy Lamarr in full focus. Restoration has resolved many of the previous flaws, although some very minor ones remain. There are two very faint blue spots at the bottom left corner. There is a tiny and unobtrusive blemish in the "E" in "POWELL". The previous horizontal fold lines are barely visible, especially the bottom one which you can hardly see if at all. There is a minor blemish between "POWLL" and "LAMARR" at the top right of the poster. And there are several stray tiny marks (possibly production flaws) throughout the poster; example is a small 1/8" thin faint red line to the right of the small black star at the right of center of the poster. There are no pin holes, no tears, no tape or tape residue, and no soiling or smudges. There is no loss of paper or color. There is no separation of paper anywhere on the poster. The pastel colors are amazing. Please review the photos carefully.

to promote this movie when it was released in 1943. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars
William Powell, Hedy Lamarr
, James Craig, Fay Bainter, Henry O'Neill, Spring Byington, Morris Ankrum, Franco Corsaro, Connie Gilchrist, and Arthur Space. It was directed by Alexander Hall.
The artwork is by Al Hirschfeld.
This partially restored movie poster is Flat and measures 14" x 36".
Originally the poster had been folded with two horizontal folds.
Most original movie posters pre 1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or defect. The poster is now stored Flat and will be mailed flat.
This original movie poster is graded C8.5, Very Fine/Near Mint.
Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.   The pre-restoration grade of this poster was C 7 Fine/Very Fine.  Restoration have remedied
slight edge and fold wear, minor creases, smudges, tears, and a few minor stains. The poster always had amazing deep and rich colors, but is now free of any obtrusive flaws. It truly will make a spectacular display. The artwork by Hirschfeld is simply beautiful.
