  • Condition: This gate is a striking authentic reproduction of the classic Victorian Ornamental Cast Iron from Scotland and Adelaide, Australia from the late 1800's and Early 1900's. Gate is stored outside and may be dusty and have some minor rust showing for an authentic, aged patina. The gate is coated with a flat black universal primer which can be top coated or left to wear. Gate is sold with upper and lower pivot hinges and a handle. Does not include a strike, or posts or cane bolt. Cast Iron, unlike steel, can weather for 100 years without paint just like fire hydrants and man hole covers and park fountains. These gates are solid cast iron, cast in one pour, they are not assembled from components, and there is no tubing or hollow members in this construction.

    Derived from Victorian castings produced in the late 19th century and early 20th century. This cast iron gate made by Heritage Cast Iron USA will stand the test of time.
    This garden gate gate will come with upper hinge and pivot set, the set includes 1 pivot, 1 hinge, 1 ball bearing, and 1 handle. The gate will be sold AS-IS starting at MORE THAN
    50% OFF due to some visible rusting and wear.
    Gate is 3' wide and 5' tall and weighs 225 lbs.
    Available for local pickup or contact Craters and freighters of Tulsa for crate and freight services.
