    Description

    Weatherite Bird Hunting Vest Vintage Size Large Rubberized Inside Canvas Japan
    This is a vintage "Weatherite" brand hunting vest that is a man's size "Large". The item is made in Japan and looks never to have been worn. It was an estate find in closet. However, there are some "L" shaped tears to canvas on outside. They are hard to see and flat as item not worn. I am pointing to the place in photos. Please review. This vest measures 24" top to bottom x 20" across from arm pit to arm pit. There is a faux leather shoulder protector on one shoulder. The front has metal zipper and there is a snap closure breast pocket. There are ammo loops under the lower two flaps ( I forgot to photograph the elastic ammo loops under there). The loops are in good shape and not stretched out.  The back has removeable bird pouch with snaps. There is a clear pocket on the back for license or map. The inside of vest has cozy plaid flannel in neck area and the rest is rubberized. Rubberize backing is a bit stiff from age. Nice vintage item for display or collection.
